Flu Vaccinations Posted or Updated on 19 Aug 2024

Flu Vaccination timelines have changed this year to provide better coverage for patients.

Patients who are 2 or 3 years old on 31st August this year will be invited for vaccination from 1st September 2024

Patients at risk aged 6 months to 17 years having the nasal flu will be invited to book from 1st September 2024

At risk patients aged 18 to 64 years and our over 65 years population can be vaccinated from 3rd October 2024.

We are in the process of setting up our clinics. Everyone who is eligible for a flu vaccination will be invited by text message or a phone call.

Please remember we order our vaccines a year in advance based on our patient population size. Vaccinations still have to be paid for by the practice even if they are not used. Please support us by attending the surgery for your vaccinations.
